Explaining Mobile Meals is simple: Nutritious Meal, Friendly Visit, and a Safety Check.

NUTRITIOUS MEAL
Adequate nutrition is necessary to remain independent. Healthy eating can increase mental abilities, improve overall health and give the ability to manage day to day living. Meals on Wheels services who provide meals for the elderly like Mobile Meals ensures that seniors have access to adequate nutrition even when family support, mobility and resources are lacking.

FRIENDLY VISIT
For many seniors, a trusted Mobile Meal staff member or volunteer who shows up with a nutritious meal and a smile is often the only person they see or speak with all day. This special delivery is a good reason to get up in the morning and a reminder to take care of themselves. Additionally, seniors traveling to group settings for meals also receive valuable social interaction and companionship. A meal, especially to these seniors, is often much more than just the food on the plate.

SAFETY CHECK
The safety check that accompanies each meal delivery helps keep seniors independent and while giving loved ones a little extra piece of mind.
