Minority Health Month Event
Mobile Meals Inc. will be providing 2 seminars. These programs are funded by the Ohio Commission on Minority Health in celebration of Minority Health Month. These sessions are perfect for those trying to manage their diabetes. Caregivers and family members are encouraged to attend. These sessions would also be helpful for those looking to manage their weight, or simply develop a healthier lifestyle. Topics will include, portion control, label reading, progression and complications of diabetes and recipe modifications for preparing healthier foods.

The 25th Annual Child & Family Awareness Month, is observed during the month of April 2012. The event features more than 150 local organizations (including places of worship and businesses) combined with individuals from the area, working together to plan a series of family-fun activities and educational events throughout the Month. The theme this year is “A Family is Shoes That Walk Me Through Life” created by a student (Joseph Gorsuch) at Miller South School for the Visual & Performing Arts. Click here for more information
