As a non-profit organization, Mobile Meals Inc. depends on the generosity of donors and volunteers who support our organization in a variety of ways. A great big Thank-you to the residents of Mulberry Garden, retirement and assisted living facility in Munroe Falls!
Thanks to Dottie, Stella, Betty, Claire, Helen, Charlotte, Dolly, Emma and Charlotte B. they were able to tri-fold hundreds of brochures for us.  Their help is very much appreciated. We look forward to working with this great group of volunteers in the future!

Mobile Meals would like to thank the County of Summit, Russell M. Pry Executive, for providing partial funding through a grant from the Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant Program which will allow for the installation of energy efficient lighting at our main office (downtown Akron) location to be installed prior to the end of this year. The purpose of this program is to provide federal grant money to local government agencies to help reduce energy use and fossil fuel emissions and improve overall energy efficiency.

Mobile Meals Inc. is excited to announce a partnership for volunteer services with ITT Technical Institute located in Akron, Ohio. ITT Technical Institute students, in exchange for valuable work experience, will be volunteering their time to assist Mobile Meals Inc. with various technical projects over the next several months. A special note of thanks to Sara Martin, Director of Career Services with ITT Technical Institute, who has setup, organized and scheduled the volunteers to fill three (3) upcoming projects to date.

Mobile Meals Inc. has received two donated used laptops from The Society of St. Vincent de Paul/St. Hilary Conference. The donated laptops are intended to be utilized at two Mobile Meals dining centers to assist onsite staff, including meal delivery drivers and site specialists, with assigned tasks once they have been reconfigured. Special thanks to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul/St. Hilary Conference and their AIM High program for this generous donation.

Community Event Recap: Fun was had by all who attended the 2nd Mobile Meals Spaghetti Dinner held October 23, 2011. Good food was shared with family and friends. Denise Considine (Community Outreach Coordinator) at Mobile Meals Inc. would like to thank everyone who volunteered and supported the event. Thank you also to everyone who donated items for our raffle.
